  12.    is anyone plowing along at writing a run-time debugger?

  14.    It would be nice to be able to single step  the code  and
  15.    examine values  or see them changing as teh code runs.

  17. My Ph.D. research has produced an environment that makes
  18. it easy to do this sort of stuff; its not just a debugger
  19. but rather a monitoring system that is easy to extend and
  20. customize (by writing Icon procedures of course).
  21.  
  22. It would be a great deal of work to put together a package for
  23. public consumption.  It can only be done if there is sufficient
  24. demand; Icon Project has limited resources.  I'd be interested
  25. in hearing how many people are really interested in a debugger.
